- Isophorone is a stable, colorless liquid a with peppermint-like odor, less dense than water and insoluble in water. It is a high-boiling, low vapor pressure solvent.

Application
- Isophorone is a widely used solvent and chemical intermediate. It is used as a solvent in some printing inks, paints, lacquers, adhesives, copolymers, coatings, finishings and pesticides. It is also uesd as a chemical intermediate and as an ingredient in wood preservatives and floor sealants.
