Description
- Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) is a solvent for epoxy and acrylic resins, ethyl cellulose, as a latent solvent in solvent system for nitrocellulose. It is a medium evaporating solvent and is completely miscible with most solvent.

Application
- Isopropyl alcohol is widely used in nitrocellulose lacquers and thinners.
- Other applications for isopropyl alcohol include the preparation of adhesives, pharmaceuticals, medicinal, cosmetics, toiletries, rubbing compounds and disinfectants.
- Isopropyl alcohol is also used as a coupling agent in cleaners and polishes, an extraction, a dehydrating agent, a de-icing fluid, a chemical intermediate in the manufacture of other materials.
